At the outset I would say that this is a top ten book on investing in my library. One that I will read over and over again and expect to glean out something new every time.
I was pleasantly surprised to read about concepts of price action - like trends, breakouts, buying at all time highs/52 week highs and avoiding 52 week low stocks. Most books which have "investor" in the title would shy away from such concepts. These are concepts that actually work in practice.
The sheer range of topics covered is huge and at times this results in important concepts being touched upon, which could be a subject for another book - like economic bubbles, sector analysis or portfolio construction strategies. However, the concept of when to sell (again which is found missing in most books on investing) is covered in great detail. So kudos for that.
I would like to congratulate and thank Basant for sharing his journey and experience, both wins and losses with unflinching honesty.
Best wishes
